Just in today from HUD!













Good news for people wishing to buy manufactured homes on permanent foundations.

The 9/16 Mortgagee Letter http://www.hud.gov/offices/adm/hudclips/letters/mortgagee/ removes the FHA-insured financing exclusion for manufactured homes located in a condominium development. This has been impacting both sales, refinances and Reverse Mortgages.

Many age 55+ communities in North San Diego County are now eligible for these types of homes.
