Many lives have been saved because of the reverse 911 emergency system in San Diego county.
I know that many people have cancelled their land line telephones to save money.
The problem is, many of those people had registered their land line for the reverse 911 emergency system. If you have cancelled your land line and not registered your cell phone, you will not be notified via the reverse 911 telephone system.
